If there is a way to fuse my love of vintage movies and modern fashion, then let the fusion begin.
On Tuesday, May 19, a TCM will show an Esther Williams movie marathon from 8PM- 5AM. If you've never heard of Ms. Williams, her movies are a true insight to what people found entertaining back in the early 1950's-- synchronized swimming. Can you imagine paying $15 today to see a movie in which a former Olympic swimmer flips around in the water for a good 20 minutes? Probably not. Though, I always find these films so intriguing because of it's a fun look at our past. And of course our fashion archives!
