Moschino Window in NYC's Meatpacking District

MOSCHINO

Do you think this woman is a little too calm for standing in a pile of money that was ejected from a malfunctioning ATM?

My friend said she should have filled up the trash can and ran!

Though, Im hoping to share with you the awesome store windows of NYC on my daily errand travels.  I love this one! Its Moschino logo money and a mannequin in a Spring 2010 wild print dress.

Hot Blues: Decades of Denim (1960's)

Denim by the decade continues with two of the hottest stars of the 1960's, Steve McQueen and Audrey Hepburn.

Steve McQueen

Who didn't give a f*ck? Steve McQueen didn't!  After all, his nicknames were "The King of Cool," "Mac", "Bandito" and "McQ" (Yes, he had it before fashion's beloved Lee Alexander McQueen, though who'd have a problem with that association). McQueen raced to fame in the 1960's with his ultra anti-hero persona in movies like and The Great Escape and Bullit.  The film, Bullit featured one of cinema's first high speed car chase scenes, with McQueen doing his own stunts, of course. In his spare time, he raced motorcycles. He could be seen shirtless at any given time in beat up jeans, but I picked out a Steve McQueen no bull shit worthy tee for you.

Audrey Hepburn

Anyone who is into fashion knows the look of Audrey Hepburn's 60's style. She's one of the most mentioned icons in the industry's magazines and media. She became one of the most sought after stars in the 1960's, starring in films like My Fair Lady, How to Steal a Million and of course the movie rendition of Truman Capote's much darker novel.  Though, during Breakfast at Tiffany's she took a break from Givenchy gowns and sang "Moon River" in her slim jeans and grey sweatshirt.  This is why we love Audrey Hepburn: the ability to look just as sophisticated and stunning in denim!

Interestingly enough, Steve McQueen was originally cast to play George Peppard's character in the film but was under contract on another project. Eh, don't think it would of suited him anyway!
