ABOUT FASHION FUNHOUSE EMPORIUM AND THE AUTHOR:
Fashion Funhouse Emporium is a buffet of fashion and style, from the fabulous, to the silly to the extreme.
This site is founded by Amber Stolec, of Brooklyn, has worked with many of established, noted stylists as an assistant on celebrity, editorial and advertising projects. She's worked at publications such as InStyle, Self, and StyleList. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a certificate in Journalism from NYU, along with a long list of film and fashion continuing education classes.
Recently branching out on her own, she has styled shoots for The Garment Room in Soho, WestEast Men's magazine and was the key costumer on My Damn Channel's SuperEgo.
In Amber's early career, she worked at Taco Bell, cleaned toilets at a nursing home, waited tables at the Olive Garden and has been secretary to many o' jerky financial executives.
After quickly learning old people miss the commode--A LOT, and serving Never Ending Pasta Bowls or Chalupas really blows, she decided to pursue her passions and enter the fashion world.
And yes, she now loves her fashion career!
