Pre-Fall 2010 collections debuted in February when many of us were just getting our hands on Spring. I must admit, sometimes I don't even know what season it is (or day, for that matter) when I'm working on Fall stories in May and Spring stories in January. With a blog, timing can be both awesome and frustrating. I want to show you now whats out for Fall right now, but then you might forget about it because you're online shopping for Spring. Ah, fashion, always being sassy!
Still, I love Pre-Fall collections. Often times, they are a blip on the style radar since it heads to stores right about now... and it's 72 degrees. But the lines are smaller and I often find the designers take more welcomed "risks." Yves St. Laurent's rose print chiffon shirt with a giant felt black hat and wide leg pants-- I have to keep myself absurd thoughts as to which bank I can easily rob to have that. I must have that! Slap---stop it!

My favorite looks from Pre-Fall runway are inspired by the swinging sixties. Marni, Miu Miu, YSL and Sonia Rykiel all showed their vibrant interpretation of modern vintage. Check out the gallery of vintage 60's pieces that you can buy right now. Add some layers--a cape, striped knee highs or a tie neck scarf and you'll be all set! So go buy a Bumpit, channel Brigitte Bardot and get shopping!
