Designers Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos moved to New York and founded thier namesake line in 2007 with both mens and women's wear. It was the men's collections gained the attention of the esteemed fashion crowd in 2009 when the duo was nominated for GQ/CFDA Best New Designer Award. Then, again in 2011, they got another nomination for the Rising Star in Menswear Award from Fashion Group International.
