What are you going to pair with your denim this summer? How about a bit of retro movie star inspiration. First up, the 1980's.

Michael J. Fox wore a multi-jean color combo in the 1985 box office smash "Back to the Future." If you're wondering why I chose Michael J. over the decade's top star, Tom Cruise, its simple. Micheal J. Fox was my first celebrity crush. My step-dad took me to see the movie at the theater. Soon after I had the Nike's he was wearing in the film. Though, if I remember correctly, my shoes were not actually Nike, but a knock off of the shoe.
While it's too hot for the "life preserver" (see the movie, youngsters) This style can work for the guys this summer.

Michelle Pfieffer strutted on the scene in 1980 and gained notoriety with her role as Elvira Hancock, the cocaine sniffing trophy wife of Scarface. She went on to be nominated for an Academy Award in her role as the piano slithering songstress Susie Diamond in "The Fabulous Baker Boys." Though, one of her first appearances was an ABC cop drama, a la "Charlie's Angels" called "B.A.D. Cats." Mention Michelle and the subject of plastic surgery comes up. Did she or didn't she. Regardless, she looks better today then she did as a fresh faced actress emerging on the scene.
